Simply arranged, this Native American lullaby is useful for teaching children to sing beautifully shaped phrases. The Orff and flute accompaniments, simple enough for students to learn, enhance the melody and provide interludes between verses. You may have heard this piece at the 1993 South Dakota convention where Anton Armstrong’s boys’ honor choir performed it.
