It doesn’t seem possible that Natalie Sleeth has been gone for 15 years. Her compositions continue to influence choirs in churches and schools throughout the world, She wrote this anthem in 1976 on the occasion of her husband Ron’s inauguration as President of West Virginia Wesleyan College. It takes the form of a joyous minor march and is very appealing to both choir and congregation. There is some soprano divisi and the ending goes into eight parts, but don’t let that hold you back. This is a fantastic anthem for any celebratory service.
