Arranged for SATB chorus (with some divisi), this is a choral paraphrase on a Slovak folk tune. The original Slovak text is provided with pronunciation guide. It tells the story of a girl cowherder who awakens from a nap to find that her cows have wandered away over the meadows. She asks “Where are my cows” and begins to hunt for them by calling their names. A charming giocoso selection of moderate difficulty.
