Believe it or not, this song is set in hip-hop style, and it works fantastic! The arranger has added dotted eighth notes in the melody line to give it a little kick. The women sing the second verse, while the men sing a repetitive theme in the hip-hop rhythm that is present in the piano and bass line throughout the piece. For the verse, the men could have separate choreography from the women to show off their hip-moves. The bridge section is in five part harmony with very clever and exciting rhythms that help drive the song to the end. The song modulates to a higher key for the final refrain that concludes in five part harmony. A good drummer will be the key to the success of this song. Find a drummer who plays hip-hop well. Have fun with costumes on this one!
