This piece was originally written in 2004 after the devastating Asian Tsunami, and was reinvented to be sung communally by its arranger. The piece flows as a simple chant, a rocking plea for mother Mary to restore peace and to have mercy on the suffering. Requiem would be easy to learn and could be performed with strength and sincerity by high school chorus for a festival or solemn occasion.
