“Sing Me to Heaven” was originally written in 1991 for SATB choir but it does not suffer in the least in this SSAA arrangement. It is for an advanced women’s choir and could be used in a festival choir situation or a chamber ensemble. The text is beautifully written by Jane Griner, “…If you would comfort me, sing me a lullaby. If you would win my heart, sing me a love song.” The music is expansive while staying within the framework of four-part harmony.
