This director favorite features a lovely melody that provides some wonderful opportunities to teach phrasing. The first section tends to be a little predictable, but the second moves into an unexpected minor key with an interesting development of the original material. Range is contained within an octave and a third above middle C. This would be a welcome addition to any Christmas service.
